I’ve spent so much time trying to get auto quotes online. It takes forever to fill in all that garbage about my zip code, my life, my house, my family, my grandmother etc.
Wouldn’t it be great if there was one central place that you could go, fill in some basic information, and then sit back and watch the quotes roll in while you drink some coffee and watch the game?
Actually, there are a number of sites where you can do that exact thing. Some things that you’ll want to prepare ahead of time though are:
1. Your driving record. It’s important that you know approximately how many accidents or tickets you’ve been involved with. Insurance companies don’t want to have to spend money on you, so they want safe drivers.
2. You’ll want to know your current coverage basics. How much you’re covered for in case of a hit and run, driver’s fault, and no one’s fault.
3. You should probably download a program (theres a cool plugin for firefox that does this, called InFormEnter) and after you fill out a field in any form, you can save that info to your browser, and then if you have to fill out any other forms that require that same info, this program does it for you automatically.
